So..I have to say that I was blown away by the love that many of you gave this past week with the BLOG HEIST! Wow! Thank you so much for your kindness and encouragement. It has been fun for me to go over and over those comments to receive so much love! I feel overwhelmed and undeserving for what you said last week.
I wanted to show you a few pictures of my trip. My experience in Africa and climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro surpassed my every expectation!! I was so blessed to be a part of such an incredible adventure. I still can’t believe that I made it to the top..its the hardest thing I’ve ever done in my life. I haven’t got to tell you yet, but, we also went to an orphanage called Msamaria Center for Street Children and spent some time playing soccer and handing out some chocolate. It was heartbreaking to see those kids…but I was glad to get to serve them in a small way.

Oh Blake, so thankful you go to visit an orphanage….you know that is really what lights my fire!!!!! And Africa no less….my favorite place. I’m so glad you made it home safely. I stopped by your blog heist while you were away I think mostly just to repay you in some way for thinking of me on my own African journey(s) and especially the time last November when you interceded for me when I couldn’t have known you were, and you couldn’t have known my inner torment at the time. We are in Bellevue now where we know we belong, but we do miss having you as our Pastor. Justin is an AWESOME Pastor too, but there will always only be one Pastor Blake. Miss you. Be blessed!
