I love this quote. One of my favorite students put this on my computer in KY.

“Dear anxious, burdened soul, do you not see it? Can you not rest where God rests–in the finished work of His Son? If God is satisfied to save you surely you should be satisfied to trust Him.”

The redeeming work is done and there is nothing that I can do to undo that work. Great satisfaction is found in that thought. So…REST in it.

Are you burdened by temporal anxieties… or… yielding yourself to His eternal satisfaction in you?

Yea dude thats freakin awesome. To rest in Jesus Christ is the most wonderful place to be yet it’s where we go the least. Christians all over the world need to rest better in God and let his peace rain supreme in their lives but it’s like we say “this way’s easier” but it’s so much harder. I like it.

by the way that picture is really funny. I think i’d like to be the guy riding though. The other guy looks like he’s go blue balls. I love you B. Can’t wait for you to come home.
